Terms of Use
Last updated
These Terms of Use apply to this website, operated by STELLAR Home Improvements (“we”). They cover the site itself, not the work we do for you, which is governed by a separate written agreement.

Using this site
By using this website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Please use the site lawfully. Do not try to disrupt it, gain unauthorized access to it, or send requests that are false or made on someone else’s behalf without their permission.
Estimates are not contracts
Sending a request through this site does not create a contract, a reservation or an obligation for you or for us. Unless it is made part of a signed written agreement, any preliminary price, timeline or scope we give you is a non-binding estimate.
Work is done only under a separate written agreement signed by you and by us. That agreement sets out the scope, price, schedule, payment terms, warranty and your cancellation rights, and it controls if anything on this site says otherwise. Before work starts you also receive the notices Washington law requires, such as the contractor disclosure statement (RCW 18.27.114) and, where it applies, the construction defect notice (RCW 64.50.050).
Free estimates. Estimates for standard projects are free and carry no obligation. If a project needs design, engineering, surveys or permit-feasibility work before it can be priced, we will tell you the cost in writing before doing that work.
About the content on this site
The descriptions of services, processes, materials and timelines on this site are general information to help you plan. They are not a promise, warranty or guarantee about any particular project, which depends on the property, permits, inspections, materials and the written agreement.
Photographs labeled “Illustrative photo” are stock images that show the kind of work, not projects completed by us. All other project photographs show our own work. Services, availability and service areas can change, and work requiring a license or permit is done only where and as the law allows.
Any customer review or testimonial we show is from a real customer, shared with permission and not changed in substance. We do not pay for reviews or offer anything in exchange for a positive one, and we disclose it when a review comes from someone connected to us.
Partner services
Services marked as partner services, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, permitting, architectural and engineering services, are performed by independent companies and professionals, not by STELLAR Home Improvements and not by our employees. We do not ourselves offer, bid or perform electrical or plumbing work. Each partner is responsible for its own work and holds the Washington licenses, registrations and certifications its work requires, such as an L&I electrical or plumbing contractor license or an architect license.
Whether we or a partner does each part of the work, each party’s responsibilities, and any fee we receive in connection with a partner’s work, will be stated in writing before work starts. Nothing here limits any responsibility the law places on us.
Selling your house and real estate investing
Information on this site about buying houses is not an offer to buy any property. Any offer is subject to a property review and becomes binding only in a written purchase agreement signed by both parties.
We are not a real estate brokerage and are not acting as your real estate agent, broker or advisor. We do not give investment, legal, tax or financial advice, and nothing on this site is a promise or projection of any return, profit or resale price. Any real estate brokerage services in a transaction are provided by licensed real estate brokers. Please get independent legal, tax, financial and real estate advice before you buy, sell or invest.
Your requests and communications
Please make sure the information you send us is accurate and that the phone number and email you give are your own. How we contact you, including calls and texts, is described in our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw consent to texts or automated calls at any time.
Warranties
Any warranty we give on our work is stated only in your written agreement. Manufacturer warranties on materials, fixtures and equipment come from the manufacturer and follow the manufacturer’s terms. Nothing on this site creates a warranty.
Intellectual property
The STELLAR name and logo, and the text, design, graphics and code of this site, belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, this site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will always be available or free of errors. This section concerns the website only; it does not limit any warranty in a written agreement for your project, or any right the law gives you that cannot be waived, including your rights under the Washington Consumer Protection Act (RCW 19.86).
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, and nothing here changes the terms of a written agreement for your project.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the law of your state of residence gives you protections that cannot be waived. Any dispute about this website will be heard in a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of Washington, and you may also use small claims court where it applies. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates apply from the date shown at the top of this page, going forward only, and do not change any project agreement already signed or any rights that have already arisen.
